Role Overview – Chief Executive Officer

Reporting into: The Board

Location: Corporate Office, Bangalore

Role Objective: The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company’s long term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value.

The CEO, would have the responsibility to manage complete P&L of the Organisation from building the business, including investment and business plan, to setting up the capabilities, rolling out the projects/services, and successfully delivering higher revenue growth in a dynamic market.

The CEO’s leadership role also entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company’s long and short term plans.

 

More specifically, the responsibilities of the CEO include the following:

 

  • Strategize the multi-year development plan of the company in terms of land procurement, designing & planining new growth avenues, conceptualise new projects, project design brief, project launches, campaigns and marketing to achieve the set Business Plan.
  • Accountable for the overall delivery of Key Performance Indicators; assist in annual budget planning process and monitoring.
  • Liaise with Board members and key stake holders including the shareholders on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans.
  • Managing overall projects right from launch; development to delivery encompassing planning, monitoring, controlling phases of project life cycle, overall inter-discipline co-ordination, administration and resource planning.
  • Ensure Compliance with appropriate accounting and reporting procedures, also ensuring sound business practices and internal controls – QA & QC at all sites and across company as required by auditors and by all authorities of the government.
  • Drive the development and deployment of Sales, Marketing & CRM strategies that addresses different geographical sales coverage.
  • Provide leadership to functional heads and work collaboratively to enable them achieve top line and bottom line profitability of the organization by ensuring cost, time and quality targets are met and to ensure the operational delivery for the organization driving change and improvement.

A professional who has the right mix of leadership, passion, energy, experience, business savvy, entrepreneurial spirit, innovative nature, and a deep experience in the B2C industry space.

 

  • An Engineering degree with a PG in management preferably from premier institutes and professional experience of fifteen plus years in Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Procurement & Operations, with P&L responsibility.
  • Techno commercial, understanding project management and can do marketing, sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of handling international investments. Monetization of assets in real estate space with couple of years as a COO/CEO for a large entity with over 1000 Cr of Annual Revenue would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage all aspects on real estate operations including strategy, design management, planning, construction, procurement, QA & QC.
  • Experienced in program budgeting and fiscal management.
  • Ability to lead and inspire different functions and foster a culture of collaboration across them.

Head of Sales & Marketing

Directly report to the Executive Director.
Location: Bengaluru/Chennai

Role Objective: Lead the Region in meeting all business goals and ensuring a quality expereince to all Customers of the Company, across the Customer Life cycle.  

 

More specifically, the duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage Sales portfolio of INR 1500 Crores and own the Sales & Marketing strategy for the Region with a goal of new Customer acquisitions, retentions and references.
  • Part of the organization’s core management team and provide valuable inputs to shape and direct the growth of the company in a sustainable manner.
  • Develop plans which deliver growth by identifying key Customers, key target segments, and key activities which will drive revenue realization and Sales growth.
  • Overall responsibility for the marketing plan for the Region; Market research and competitor analysis – Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators.
  • Implement customer enabling technologies, including CRM, to deliver an improved Customer experience across all stages of the Customer Life cycle.
  • Customer Relations Management – Offer a professional interface between customer and the various departments of the organization for achieving highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Refine and define overall brand positioning for each Property, defining its USP and positioning aligned with the overall brand positioning of Shriram Properties.  Create brand guidelines, Deploy marketing and PR strategy for pre-launch and post launch phases consistent with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead the digital direct marketing activities, affiliate marketing, and social advertising for the Region.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to satisfaction.
  • To work closely with the Project Team head, Legal head and the Finance head to ensure successful smooth delivery of projects.
  • Assess customer feedback, evaluate areas of improvement and map quality standards for various operational areas ensuring high quality customer experience.
  • Promote and act in accordance with company values, systems, policies and procedures.

Requirements

The role will require a highly successful and target oriented Sales and marketing professional with flair and personality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business studies, marketing or relevant field. An MBA will be preferred.
  • Should have at least 15 years of experience in Sales and Marketing with at least 5 years in critical role / leadership position.
  • Exposure of handling mega properties with leading developers in real estate industry / IPCs would be preferred.
  • Specialist knowledge of sales/marketing techniques, research and analysis – Must have the traditional marketing experience along with the current social media expertise.
  • Experience of managing budgets /cost control, and ability to gather, interpret data; plan, prioritize and organise work to meet targets.
  • Ability to handle operations and management of a large volume sales center – Competence to deal with annual sales volumes exceeding INR 1500 Crores.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Skilled at developing, managing and retaining successful cross-functional teams of varying sizes from small to large.
  • A lateral and innovative thinker, an original problem-solver, a good negotiator and influencer.

Role Objective: Plan, Direct and coordinate the Compensation and Benefits activities of the organization so as to deliver the desired business results.

Key Areas:

    • Develop & drive a single C&B strategy for all geographies across the globe.
    • Play a key role in assisting the Head-HR in conceptualisation, design, institutionalise and implement new and/or innovative HR initiatives related to Compensation & Benefits and policies related to these areas.

 

  • Collaborate and provide counsel to the Regional HR Leadership, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition regarding reward issues, evaluating new positions, job bands, grade levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfers.

Vice President - Human Resources

Role Objective: A strategic and hands-on HR driving Talent Management agenda including Talent Acquisition, Career Management, Performance Management, HR Operations, Learning & Development and Employee Engagement.

Collaborate with the leadership team on the formulation of key strategies by anticipating HR issues and solutions as appropriate. Manage projects and initiatives required to deliver the overall HR strategy

Talent Acquisition

  • Responsible for the strategic global human resource planning to provide the company with the best people talent available globally and to position the company as the Employer of Choice.
  • Build and manage relations with campuses and external partners for both campus recruitment and lateral hiring.

Career Management

  • Talent management by identifying competency, knowledge and talent gaps and developing specific programs such as career planning, succession planning programs for key contributor and leadership positions, workshops and mentoring for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Training institutes and University programmes for building and enhancing career related domain specific programmes

Performance Management

HR Operations

Role Overview- VP & Head IMS    

 

Spearhead the global Infrastructure Management Services of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning P&L responsibility for driving growth strategy, creating roadmaps, delivery, solutions and operations to meet global business goals of the IMS practice.
  • Work in close synchronization with the internal practice teams – Managed IT Services/ End User Services, Cloud Computing, Service Automation and Application Infrastructure Consulting.
  • Envision, Create, Institutionalise leading Infrastructure Strategic solutions to build a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities of growth and new business in IMS space across all verticals.
  • Expand existing network and build lasting relationship with clients.
  • Working in close collaboration with presales team & delivery teams to ensure that proposed solution offerings and services fully meet customers’ business and technology needs.

 

Desired:

  • 15 years or more experience in IT Infrastructure management services (IMS), Practice Building, Service Delivery, Client Management, P&L management, Pre-Sales, People Management, Capability building, Alliance management, Market Strategy and consulting skills.
  • Demonstrated performance in Complex Solution/ IT Infra Services Sales/Delivery to Fortune clients.
  • Experience in global delivery model, standardized tools, and mature processes for infrastructure management services (IMS).
  • Experience in lifecycle services in data center management, desktop management, database and middleware services, and web operations preferred.
  • Financial management experience: estimating, budgeting, pricing, risk assessment.
  • Strong Leadership/ Team Building/ Decision Making skills with ability to interface with CXO customers and senior management.
  • Possess skills to drive business growth, capitalize on new revenue potential and manage multiple aspects of daily business operations.
  • Experience/exposure to hosted solutions, third party maintenance modeling, and network and security integrated models would be an advantage.
  • Exposure to Cloud consulting and enablement, migration to popular public cloud platforms, commodity solutions for IaaS (Infrastructure as a service), and SaaS (Storage as a service) is desirable.
