Experience:
- An undergraduate or post graduate in engineering (Computers or IT) with 10-13 years of experience in software development.
- Minimum 3 years of development experience on an Oracle ATG platform
- Manager a group of front end focused engineers (both internal and staff aug)
- Have accountability for the end-to-end technical delivery of focused projects
- Lead an effort to redesign the way the eCommerce IT & marketing design team partner to create world class experiences (think: agile processes, design in browser, and prototyping)
- Have accountability for the front-end technical infrastructure decisions behind a great user experience
- Work with the user experience, design, and back end teams to identify MVPs
- Mentor a team of developers just as passionate about the UI as you are
- Partner with our QA team to automate functional testing
- Partner with other eCom managers to oversee oncall (24×7) rotation
- Agile development experience in fast paced environment; working experience in small teams / pods / squads highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product of eCommerce platform.
- Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing platform architectures that serve as long-term building blocks for all eCommerce solutions. Architecting, developing, and delivering complex eCommerce solutions, including elements of User Interface and Information Architecture design.
- Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for software applications, including web, client, server, and others. Work with proof of concepts and come with the best possible solution to a particular problem when needed.
- Lead technical requirements gathering & design sessions and writing technical requirements & design documents.
- Whenever requested, provide hands on expert level assistance to other developers for technical issues on Oracle ATG platform. Hands-on working knowledge and should be able to develop is must.
- Excel at breaking business requirements down into actionable and executable steps

- Demonstrate a track record with standard SDLC and Agile implementation techniques. Knowledge on how Squads operate.
